Terapagos ex is a Colorless Tera Pokémon ex whose attack, Unified Beatdown, grows stronger for every Pokémon sitting on your Bench. Fill the Bench and this Basic hits like a Stage 2.

What Terapagos ex Does

Terapagos ex — Basic Colorless Pokémon from Stellar Crown (card #128 of 142), 230 HP, Double Rare.

Unified Beatdown — Cost: Colorless + Colorless. Damage: 30×. If you go second, you can't use this attack during your first turn. This attack does 30 damage for each of your Benched Pokémon.

Crown Opal — Cost: Grass + Water + Lightning. Damage: 180. During your opponent's next turn, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from Basic non-Colorless Pokémon.

Weakness: Fighting ×2. Resistance: none. Retreat Cost: 2.

Which Decks Want It

Colorless and Tera-focused decks are its home: it asks for no specific Energy type, so it anchors lists built from many types at once. As a Tera Pokémon ex it also enjoys the Tera bench protection rule while it waits its turn.

Playing With (and Against) It

Unified Beatdown rewards a full Bench above all else, so treat your Bench slots as part of the attack's cost. The card's real strength is flexibility: it is live from turn one, needs any Energy, and punishes opponents who let your board stay wide. Keep its Weakness (Fighting ×2) in mind when you choose your matchups.

By the Numbers

Terapagos ex is one of 14 Pokémon ex printed at Double Rare in Stellar Crown. Its 230 HP ranks #8 among those 14 ex on raw bulk. The Pokémon also appears in Prismatic Evolutions in the card data we track, so compare printings before you settle on a favorite — our comparison series does exactly that for the era's repeat stars. Its hardest printed hit is Crown Opal at 180 damage — the number every Weakness and Resistance calculation in its matchups starts from.

Verdict: Terapagos ex earns its spotlight in Stellar Crown — a card with a clear job, a clear home, and a clear plan for the turns it is on the table. That is more than most cards in any set can say.
