Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is a Basic Grass attacker whose Ability, Teal Dance, attaches a Basic Grass Energy from your hand and then lets you draw a card. Free acceleration plus a draw, once per turn, on a Pokémon that also attacks — that is why it shows up everywhere Grass energy matters.
What Teal Mask Ogerpon ex Does
Teal Mask Ogerpon ex — Basic Grass Pokémon from Twilight Masquerade (card #25 of 167), 210 HP, Double Rare.
Teal Dance (Ability): Once during your turn, you may attach a Basic Grass Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon. If you attached Energy to a Pokémon in this way, draw a card.
Myriad Leaf Shower — Cost: Grass + Grass + Grass. Damage: 30+. This attack does 30 more damage for each Energy attached to both Active Pokémon.
Weakness: Fire ×2. Resistance: none. Retreat Cost: 1.
Which Decks Want It
Grass decks are the natural home, but its biggest role is as the acceleration half of Raging Bolt ex lists, where Teal Dance charges the discard-and-draw engine turn after turn. Any deck that can spare Bench space for a Grass splash can borrow the trick.
