Munkidori is a 110 HP Basic that does its best work without ever attacking. Adrena-Brain moves up to 3 damage counters from one of your Pokémon to one of your opponent's — as long as Munkidori has Darkness Energy attached.
What Munkidori Does
Munkidori — Basic Psychic Pokémon from Twilight Masquerade (card #95 of 167), 110 HP, Rare.
Adrena-Brain (Ability): Once during your turn, if this Pokémon has any Darkness Energy attached, you may move up to 3 damage counters from 1 of your Pokémon to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon.
Mind Bend — Cost: Psychic + Colorless. Damage: 60. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused.
Weakness: Darkness ×2. Resistance: Fighting -30. Retreat Cost: 1.
Which Decks Want It
Gardevoir ex decks adopted it first: Psychic Embrace loads your own board with damage counters, and Munkidori ships three of them across the table every turn. Any Darkness-splashing deck that self-damages can use the same trick.

Playing With (and Against) It
Three counters is 30 damage that ignores Weakness and Resistance and can target the Bench — enough to finish softened Pokémon or fix math on the Active. The Darkness Energy requirement is the whole puzzle: build your Energy split so Munkidori is almost always switched on. Keep its Weakness (Darkness ×2) in mind when you choose your matchups.
By the Numbers
Munkidori is one of 14 Pokémon ex printed at Double Rare in Twilight Masquerade. The Pokémon also appears in Prismatic Evolutions in the card data we track, so compare printings before you settle on a favorite — our comparison series does exactly that for the era's repeat stars. Its hardest printed hit is Mind Bend at 60 damage — the number every Weakness and Resistance calculation in its matchups starts from.
Verdict: Munkidori earns its spotlight in Twilight Masquerade — a card with a clear job, a clear home, and a clear plan for the turns it is on the table. That is more than most cards in any set can say.
